The NANO-flex is a very sensitive, probe-based DLS system for measuring the size of particles between 0.8nm and 6.5um. It uses a heterodyne 180° method that offers a significantly better signal-to-noise ratio than traditional DLS. As a result, NANO-flex provides better sensitivity and can resolve polydisperse samples with relative ease (see graph). Also, with very little multiple scattering, it can measure highly concentrated samples (up to 40% vol). Probe-based sampling enables a dip-in analysis that can be performed in just about any container.
